What will the future look like? I asked myself this cloudy a.m as I'm sitting in my vehicle along side my younger sister, who is upset that her scheduled commuter train is running 20 minutes late. I then think about all the vintage photos I have seen from varies eras. The 20's, 30's,40's and so on. With each photo that I ever laid vision on, I thought, what was it like in those times? "Look at their clothes, look at their hairstyles, look at their facial expressions". "Boy, they sure look sad, I bet it was pretty boring back in those days". And then I thought, " I'm sure that 50 or so years from now, my great grandchildren will be thinking the same thing". Watching the looks on each face, each face plugged in, each face caught in the matrix. Each person not taking the time to so much as greet one another. Not so much as a head nod or eye contact to acknowledge the other. And I thought...."What if instead of flying cars, space station homes, or rfid chip hand controlled time cards, society moved into an evolved way of thinking, an evolved way of living , and progressed into tribalism"? What if society wised up and discovered that these devices that we so worship on a daily basis, was in fact the leading cause of cancer and birth defects? What if we realized how waste of nuclear energy was poisoning our oceans, leaving the sea animals with an uninhabitable environment, rendering fish inedible, and slowly killing Gaia ( the earth ). What if all this technology for what it's worth has already been done by the ancients? What if they figured out the solution to their problems lied in global unity and simplicity. Hmmm, what if ? What do you think the future will look like? How do you foresee man's next evolutionary phase? How do you mentally project the future?

"I'm an avid student of life, love, and spirit. My blog isn't about external beauty per se, clothes, fashion, make-up,or even politics. No none of these things!! The articles that I write come from my heart and are about something simple yet complex, rugged yet fragile, dark yet light. Something beautiful yet at times can be ugly. I write about something that all reading this shouldn't take for granted. Life!! Something everlasting yet fleeting." - Shakira Z. Ch'i Peace Always |
