Hello my dear friends, I'm sure that you have seen, read or heard about the senseless murder (and I don't use the term loosely) of Terence Crutcher. This saddens me beyond words. Unable to watch the dash cam video or read the gory details, I see it only fit through my despair to honor the fallen victims of misconduct. While I indeed empathize with the slain officers that are lost by the hands of criminal minds via gun each day. I also detest over zealous trigger happy antics of those who see each melanated man, woman or child as a "threat". I.e Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, Akai Gurley, Sandra Bland and so many others. It's the hypocritical psyche of so- called mainstream America that bothers me. A melanated man will be revered and upheld as "big bad dudes" while playing professional sports. As matter of fact, this or those very individuals, will buy posters jerseys and all sorts off memorabilia commemorating the accomplishments of said athletes. However, take this same individual, put him in the mundane environment of everyday people and he instantly becomes scary. To be a police officer takes heart, it takes bravery of the highest caliber and if you don't possess this fundamental quality, you have no business being one.
